Mike
Cartrett is the owner of Palm Beach Bonsai, a wholesale
prebonsai nursery in South Florida. He searches out
and collects tropical material from wooded and urban
areas.
Mike has been a bonsai teacher for over ten years
and is a member of Asagao, on of John Naka’s
study groups. He as both organized and spoken at a
number of conventions in Florida and has lectured
throughout the southeastern U.S. |

a biology student at Florida State University,
Mike saw his first bonsai and has been involved
with them ever since. |

in Horticulture and over 30 years as nursery
